SOLOTEX®︎ DRY is used as the material. This fiber is packed with essential elements for hiking and sports clothing. It is sweat-absorbent and quick-drying, has a smooth feel that surpasses cashmere, which is said to be a representative of high-end materials, does not lose its shape easily even after washing, and is stretchable for easy movement. It is also an environmentally friendly fiber that is made from plant-derived raw materials, reducing the consumption of fossil resources and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases. These pants have all the elements required by hikers.
Superior quick-drying performance over conventional products
SOLOTEX®︎ DRY has the advantage of being able to dry in a shorter time than conventional polyester or nylon. Below is the diffusive residual moisture content data for a fabric size of 20 cm square when 0.6 cc of water was dropped in the center of the fabric. SOLOTEX®︎ DRY is less than half dry after 25 minutes and almost dry at less than 5% after 50 minutes, proving that it is a fiber with excellent quick-drying properties.
A test was conducted with 30 cc drops on this pant at an indoor temperature of 23°C. After 1 hour, the surface moisture was almost no longer visible, and after 2 hours, it was dry to approximately 30% moisture content. Under actual natural conditions, the pants can dry even faster because they are also affected by wind and body temperature.

Development Story
Continued pursuit of pants suitable for hiking
I have worn and compared pants from all kinds of manufacturers. I have worn pants made of nylon, pants made of special lightweight material, stretchy pants, and other types of pants from different manufacturers, and have noticed that there are both advantages and disadvantages. I focused on the disadvantages and decided to develop nobodyhike's original pants, believing that these disadvantages could be reduced as much as possible.
I believe that pants suitable for hiking can be narrowed down to three main elements: ease of movement, ease of drying, and long durability (durability). I thoroughly researched pants made by other manufacturers, and finally completed the "Dry Stretch Hiker Pants" by incorporating the best parts and eliminating the unnecessary parts.
The fabric is Teijin's SOLOTEX® DRY. I considered a variety of fabrics, but there was no other choice but SOLOTEX® that satisfied the three elements. In addition to being quick-drying and stretchy, SOLOTEX® has excellent morphological recovery properties (the property of returning to its original shape after movement), and has features such as minimal stretch and shrinkage even after repeated washing and tumbler drying, as well as long-lasting coloring. In addition, some of the polymers that make up SOLOTEX® are made from plant-derived raw materials, which has the advantage of being environmentally friendly. I feel that it is the mission of manufacturers to create environmentally conscious products in order to protect the future of nature.
And it is not only the fabric that I focused on. The design and the smallest parts were also uniquely designed. There is a tendency to make them unnecessarily large for comfort, but this should be done only where necessary. I designed it to maintain its beautiful form while taking advantage of its stretchability. And a total of five pockets are provided. As a measure to prevent smartphones, wallets, and other items from falling out, a zipper and snap buttons were designed to increase storage capacity and make them easy to remove. The "Dry Stretch Hiker Pants" were calculated down to the smallest detail based on actual experience. Although the production quantity is limited, I highly recommend that you pick up these pants as this season's hiking pants.
Product Handling
- Please wash at home at temperatures up to 40°C, using a laundry net, with zippers and buttons closed.
- Don't use bleach or fluorescent detergents.
- Don't leave the product wet for long periods of time.
- It may shrink, although the change is minimal. After washing, please shape and hang dry.
- Don't iron.
